Our Story...
Growing up, rum cake’s rich buttery flavor and glaze was a staple in my family because It wasn’t just dessert… it was tradition.
But life has a way of changing us.
As a recovering alcoholic, I reached a point where I thought I had to give up one of my favorite treats forever.
I didn’t miss the alcohol, but I truly missed the flavor, the ritual, and the memories tied to it.
So I did what my family has always done when something was missing, and I went back to get to work in the kitchen.
Using our old family recipe as a foundation, I created a twist: all the flavor, none of the rum. The same rich taste. The same moist, decadent texture. The same joy — just made safer for me, and for anyone who chooses not to drink.
That’s the “Little Lie.”
It tastes like rum cake… but it isn’t.
